some conferences are benefitting from hype and pr efforts that are better than the SEC. the B10 getting 7 bids?! the BEast getting 9?!
the SEC getting just 4?!

The SEC deserves just four, maybe five. Nice to see MSU on there, I'd love to play Minnesota - Tubby vs. SEC (and MSU would get owned).

I just can't accept that the B10's 5th, 6th and 7th teams are better than our 5th etc.
Same for the BEast going 7,8,9.
In order to win a National Championship, you gotta bring it thru the SEC.

those 3 SEC wins have paid off for MSU i guess....we need to keep the win train going.

MSU and LSU could be close down the stretch. Too bad the media hates the SEC so bad. I still think only four make it.

XPS, do you know who Lunardi had us against last week in the first round...

HINT: It's a coach who used to coach us that's now in Big Ten country?

I would kill for a second round matchup with Xavier. I want revenge for what those *****es did to us when we were a 2 seed in 04.

That Xavier team was something... they also beat Louisville, and almost beat Duke in the Elite 8 to go to the Final Four. That was MSU's best chance to really make a dent in the NCAAT though.

I think this Xavier team has issues on defense and they have a frosh point guard, and while he's good, he still makes freshman mistakes at times.

I want Xavier too, but I wouldn't be looking forward to playing Minnesota.

F-ed up considering Arkansas beat the top two teams in the Big 12. Despite a weak early showing in conference, Oklahoma is still top 10 and Texas is still top 20.

Yeah, that was an unfortunate matchup for MSU that year because that team had Elite 8 or Final 4 potential. That's still the most disappointing loss I've ever witnessed as an MSU Basketball fan.
