was at the game....he was limping a bit at the end of the game...hope he was ok. He didn't come out so it must not of been that serious.....Barry made a huge shot deep in the shot clock with about 1:30 left to solidify the game.

Dee Bost is a TRUE pg.

16 points and 6 assists shows that he was sharing the ball as well as scoring - very good numbers.

He is also third in the league in assists. I'm very happy with his performance.

He put up another solid performance this week averaging 14.5 ppg and 8 apg in two league wins. Perhaps another freshman of the week honor is in order.

I have to set the record straight, I know I complained about Dee Bost not being a high school PG and Stans converting him, but he is a college PG, having never really played the position in high school, it is his natural position in college and I can only give credit to Stans for seeing that.

I complained alot about never really having a true PG, but I can't complain much about what we have in Dee and Twanny. These two are the purest PG's we have had at State in a long time and they can score too, especially Dee. I'm sure they will both still make mistakes but we have something to hang our hats on for the next few years. I'm excited about it!

Like they say, your PG's will take you far in the tourney, I'm pretty comfortable with that position right now. Not saying we will make the tourny this year, but if we do, I'm confident in Dee Bost.

Before college.....Bost played a lot of point from a 2 type spot and ran teams coming down the stretch of games, key possesions, ect. Teams functioned best when he had the ball in his hands/was running the teams. Stansbury has indicated that Bost is a true point guard. This kid is really good.

Note: Dee Bost is coming off of winning a National Championship and MVP last season at Hargrave. In the tournament.....Bost was noted as the best player on the court in every game that he played and was awarded the MVP(Many top rated players played, including Tyreke Evans).

North Carolina High School.....State Championship and MVP(basketball and football)

AAU....Championship and MVP(Bob Gibbons Tournament MVP winners that year...Kevin Love, Dee Bost, Colt Ryan)

North Carolina High School All Star Game.....MVP

North Carolina vs South Carolina High School All Star Game.....MVP

Helped lead the United States All Stars

Played very well in classic games against Brandon Jennings and his teams.

Prep School.....National Championship and MVP(undefeated)
