I've seen it done, but never attempted it. My dad still has a bow set up that he used to use. I would pretty much have to have a fish much bigger than me to shoot...kinda like a whale.
Good to see you around...even if you are a Florida fan. :raz:

I have never done it but a buddy of mine has and has a video of them doing it on an air boat at night with a spotlight in Grand Isle, LA, its looks pretty fun, seems kinda challenging as well.....but they caught or bowed a lot of fish.

Yep , You need to try it. Its a blast. As soon as you shoot your first fish you will be hooked.

I use to with my brothe all the time. It fun. I think it would be even more fun today with the new reels. All I had was the mushroom looking thing that sat on the front of the bow and you have to reel it by hand. Kind of like when the Mexicans fish with beer cans at these fishing resorts.
Have you ever seen someone use a beer can to fish? It's pretty imprsive.

Yeh, me and my brother go all the time now. We both shoot recurves. I have a muzzy reel on the front of mine and he has a AMS retriever on his.
Those hand spools are not as fun, but they do the job.:)
