Now that is the heart of a champion, don't you think, 06?

I like the beginning...

"Out of respect for you..."

The best part it the heading. "Atlanta Falcons Players" sounds about as personal as "To Whom It May Concern"

You know Saban is a POS, but this guy really tops all in the sleezeball world. I'd be really upset if I were Arkansas alumni.

That note might as well just say "Kiss my ass."

Pinebox..........

Pinebox..........What?

What?

He's saying Tubby is no different because he said he would leave Oxford in a pinebox.

He's saying Tubby is no different because he said he would leave Oxford in a pinebox.Oh ok.

Well I'll tell you what, rolling. If Saban is still there after a full recruiting class of his have come and gone, I'll respect his loyalty.......a little.

Ole Miss to Auburn is a tremendous upgrade. Miami to Alabama, reguardless of how bad Miami is, is nothing but temporary income until something interesting comes up.

Bama will just hire Tony Franklin if Saban bolts for that lake in Georgia....... ;)

With all due respect to the Arkansas fans, thats pathetic. 4 sentences and he could not even personally address each player? He should have called a team meeting but if you're dropping a form letter on them, you gotta do better than that.

Petrino, Saban, etc. reminds me of those dudes that are book smart but lack the other necessary skills in life. These are guys that breathed football since they were born (i.e. Bellichick) but they have some of ishtiest communication/social manners out there. That's what makes Pete Carroll so great.

I wonder if Petrino even wrote the note? This is so lame and just wrong.

 Who cares what they think. They are grown ass men---deal with it. If Petrino leaves in a year, then so be it, I don't really care, but pros get paid and don't choose their teams, for the first 5-6 years anyway. College players choose their teams and hopefully he will honor his commitment, but if he doesn't then oh well.

He didn't like Atlanta and its group of thugs that called him out in the media earlier in the year. He wanted out and got out. I for one am not really happy with the hire, but will support him for the time he is here, be it 10 games or 10 years.

it's funny watching Arkansas fans trying to blindly defend this, like calling players thugs, in order to try and make a point.

You're damn right they're grown-ass men, and they deserve to be treated as such. Not even telling them to their faces that he's leaving is a disgrace.

That's pathetic at best. I mean if you want to leave that's fine you gotta do what you think is best for you but hell at least be a man about it and tell them face to face. They may be grown men and they may be thugs or at least some of them may be thugs but that doesn't mean you can treat them like ****. He didn't have the gumption to face them and he knows it.
