View Full Version : No way LSU covers this Saturday!

Has the line changed? The last one I have seen has the Tigers by 9.5.
LSU will still be high off the big win against Florida and Commonwealth will be rockin'! Kentucky will be ready to go Saturday afternoon on national TV. Look for Woodson to play big and make it a white-knuckler.

My prediction, LSU 28 -Kentucky 26.

My first thought.............You care to back up that with a sig bet? 1 week, based on LSU covering that 9.5 points?

Terms...............Simple, if LSU covers, I get to add a pic or a comment to your sig until kickoff the next week. If they fail to cover, you get to do it to mine.

Huge trap game for LSU. This will be the biggest home game of the year for Kentucky and they'll be ready. LSU is coming off an emotional, Sports Illustrated cover victory over Florida and has another team that beat them last year (Auburn) coming up next week.

The last time LSU had a trap game, they were beating a horrible Tulane team by 2 points at halftime after a last minute drive. Kentucky is 4000x better than Tulane. If they come out flat again, watch out.

I don't believe LSU comes out flat, and honestly I think we will be able to put pressure on Woodson and hopefully contain him. If Kentucky makes mistakes and gives LSU gifts like they gave to USC, LSU runs away with this one. If they play mistake free ball its close. It kinda scares me playing in Kentucky, if you take into consideration past games played there.

LSU wins pretty big. I have big questions about Woodson against a defense that hits him all night and LSU will punish you from start to finish. If he makes mistakes again this week, they have no chance. Not sure UK can slow their running attack either.

The intangables makes me think LSU squeaks this one by the hair of their mustard-covered chins.

1) Huge emotional/comeback win last Saturday.
2) LSU is #1 in the nation now with a bullseye on their back.
3) USC was shocked by Stanford shocked so it proves nothing is guaranteed.
4) Kentucky has the home crowd and may come to play.

Oh well...all signs point to a LSU blowout but you never know. As for the Vols, I'll be happy with a 1pt win at Starkvegas!

A friend is placing a bet for me in Vegas. I took UK and the points. UK has usually played LSU tough at home.

LSU is susceptible to the pass, which will work in UKs favor. The problem is, it's hard as $&^# to run on them so Little is gonna have to have the game of his life. I also think to have any success running on them you need a Jacob Hester type of guy that can just pound and pound and pound. Any dancing behind the line, and you're goin down for a loss.

lsu will win by at least 10. should win by 14+

Little is still injured. If he doesn't play it will be even tougher for the Cats.

I'm a big believer in trap games, but I just believed LSU is too veteran a team to fall into one here. They'll take care of business.

I'm nervous about this game. It's our toughest road game this season.

Kentucky can win this game if their defense can stop the run.

Kentucky needs to strike first. Get the crowd fired up, LSU on their heels, and show that they can hang. If LSU scores the first 14 or 21 points, the game's over right away.

I think Kentucky will do a good job passing on LSU. That's just my hunch, though...

9.5 isn't a whole lot of points when you think about it. At least not to me. I could very well see LSU covering that especially if Little doesn't play.

Anybody wanna make one for the AU game?
