Champions League Group Stage

[2008 National Champions]

The group play kicked off today.

I watch Man U (my fave English team) against Sporting Portugal.

It was a pretty entertaining first half, second half was better. Rooney didn't look match fit and he was pulled in the 70 minute. Saha replaced him and wasted a couple great chances at goal.

Christiano Ronaldo was amazing, scored a goal and was the man of the match against his former team.

Man U wins 1-0

I DVR'd it and watched it after work. Rooney was completely ineffective, and once again even though I think Ronaldo needs to grow up he proved he can ball. Nice win for my MANCS. Giggs was struggling too, but I figure they'll snap out of it sooner or later.
