A quote from Stansbury...

As for incoming freshmen Kodi Augustus and Elgin Bailey, Stansbury said both should be enrolled for the fall.

"I'm just finishing up clearing out some paperwork," said Stansbury. "It's just not as easy as it used to be. We weren't able to get them cleared in time to get them in for the second term (of summer school) but we anticipate both will be here for the Fall."

Most believed Augustus would make the cut, but Bailey wouldn't. Certainly good news for the Bulldogs.

I kinda had a feeling Bailey would redshirt or prep, but getting him and Kodi qualified is awesome, just more quality depth in the post.

Bailey has talked about it but Stans does not use the RS very often. I think Bailey would gain a lot by a RS year.
I would think Benock(sp) would RS...Johnson will not and Augustus will not.

Bailey adds another big solid guy in the post. Bailey(scores, rebounds, blocks shots) appears to be a big kid, and can help the team this season.

Augustus is reportedly a very skilled 6-9, 225 wing/forward type, with big time shooting ability. He,s described as a very atheletic, and highly skilled player. This kid can also rebound. Drives to the basket and scores/dunks. This kid appears to be very talented. A couple of 6-9,225 or so types that could really shoot it, and could take it, rebound, ect.........Robert Horry(Alabama), Shawne Williams(Memphis).
