One has to wonder what he would have accomplished if he hadn't had injuries in his time at Georgia!

He only started 8 games as a freshman. As a soph. he was injured on the first play of the 6th game. Plus, he gets less than half of the carries now. We play 5 tailbacks.

He has an outside chance to pass McFadden and finish 2nd.

Huge props to Ralph Webb, who will pass Emmitt to be top ten all time.

Yep. Nicely done...

I wonder if Bo will be in the house for Chubb to pass him...

That would be a nice gesture from Bo Jackson.

I guess Chubb has recovered from his injury. I haven't really been paying attention. That is good to hear though.

Lol, it would be to cheer on his tigers if he is there. He goes to a lot of games.

It would've been very interesting to see what would've happened in 2014 nationally if Todd Gurley didn't have the suspension or Nick Chubb started all season. If you project out with both really, they had some crazy numbers that year.

But like I've also said, you have to wonder if the OL really helped that year, that was one of the best OL's we've seen in a long time at Georgia, if ever. That OL was silly good, even though Nick Chubb started out next year doing even better before the nasty PCL injury.

He would have broken 34's record. But then again he accomplished that in only 3 years. Which seems unbelievable.

He's been an absolute beast this year. But so have Sony and Deandre Swift.

He is the type of guy that makes you pity the linebackers.

It's gotta hurt every time you try and tackle him. Sony Michel isn't as big as Chubb but he's laid some serious licks on DB's trying to tackle him too.

There's no doubt that Chubb is back 100% from his injury.......he's cutting on a dime and running through arm tackles like he did as a freshman and his top end speed is as good as ever.....

ESPN asked Roquan Smith to describe playing against Chubb in practice. Smith said, "He runs violently".

I think that it was Herschel's reluctance to do that in practice that led Vince Dooley to tell Larry Munson before that Tennessee game in September 1980 "I believe that we may have a big, stiff fullback here".

brad is right. Herschel did not like practice.

Yes, that was the case.

Reminds me of my sons HS coach, "Friday" Richards. He got the nickname at Marietta HS because he only showed up on Friday night. He was really good, though. He was a RB for UF and the Jets. He was probably in his late 40s then, 50 lbs overweight, and was the fastest, strongest guy on the practice field.

Huge props to Ralph Webb, who will pass Emmitt to be top ten all time.

What's impressive about Webb is that for his first two seasons, Vandy basically had no threat of a passing game. Webb and the running game was all defenses had to focus on.
