I hope that LSU gives it their best shot. I'm good with that.

I'm not surprised at the large line. It's almost as if it reflects the fact LSU can't beat Alabama and they have failed to in 5-6 years.

I could see LSU winning this game because:

1. LSU is due.
2. LSU has played much better over the last month.
3. LSU will be Alabama's most difficult opponent to-date.

Dunno about #3, playing at TAMU was a pretty tough game.

At that time, A&M was untested. They beat USC, Arkansas, UL Lafayette, and Nicholls State. Now, A&M showed up for the 'Bama game, I'll give you that. I don't think A&M was ranked then either.

Saban did say this is the most difficult opponent to date. But you do expect him to say that.
I was impressed with the way Texas A&M played Bama but the game was never really in question.

I could see Alabama not covering, but I don’t see how LSU will score.

LSU has improved since the Troy State game.
LSU out gained Alabama. Had more 1st downs. Won time of possession. Had 4 sacks.
Bama had 6 three and outs. Bo Scarborough had 39 yards on 11 carries. If you just look at stats, one would think that LSU did well.

LSU did play well and I am proud of the team for playing hard and grinding it out to the end. What was the difference in the game? The quarterback play. If LSU had traded the quarterback with Alabama, then LSU would have won this game. Hurts defeated LSU for the second year in a row.

Bama did not roll LSU as I read in ESPN's headlines and if you watched the game, you know this. This was a battlefield until the end and Hurts is what makes them champions.

I want to add that Bama's punter was a weapon for them. And I think he kept us from scoring more than we did. It's a very difficult task to drive the football the length of the field against that defense. He punted a lot and all the punts were winners for Bama. He's the best punter that I have seen all year and I am really glad that he's a senior.

I guess y'all were tickled when Alabama took a knee at the LSU 5 yd line at the end of the game!

No need to humiliate one of the annual opponents.

What makes you think they would've scored. They had already tried twice and were stopped

1st and Goal at LSU 7(0:55 - 4th) Damien Harris run for 2 yds to the LSU 5
2nd and Goal at LSU 5(0:00 - 4th) TEAM run for a loss of 3 yards to the LSU 8

We're happy that we played hard and didn't give up. And we hope to have the quarterback in place the next time. That and improve both sides of the lines.

And you have to remember that we had Les Miles as our coach. Our offense had some success that Miles never had.

Did you watch the game?

Hahahaha! Alabama ran the ball up the middle and made no attempt to stop the clock. If they had scored they would have covered or at least pushed your bets. You're just lucky, Saban didn't want to run up the score.

Other than proving that Saban is a dick for not kneeling on 1st down, exactly how does this prove they would've scored

Nothing is 100%, but Bama could've used time outs and ran harder to defend plays to get into the endzone.

Hey look, I'm glad that LSU is satisfied with their play last Saturday. Alabama was not satisfied with theirs. That doesn't bode well for the Tigers.

Dark days ahead.

Hamilton being out for season is a killer blow. Might ruin Bamas chances to win SEC.

None as good or as athletic as SDH. Maybe Wilson, but that's a big dropoff in experience.
