Poor LSU, having to deal with a "disrespected" Tide team....

I like the overall rankings better than the polls, but I do think Bama should be first - even with UGA's quality win over ND.

It has been a long time since we were number one. That did not last long and Bama exposed us as a fraud.

I really wished that they had stayed #1! I hope that they don't feel that they have to prove a point.

Hey another shot to take down a #1... though I don't think it happens (understatement of the year). Though I feel this benefits us more in regards to ANY shot of beating UGA than them being #2 and pushing for #1. Spread is ridiculous though, and not sure what the spread was for the Bama game when we played them in 2010.

I hope Georgia stays at #1 as long as possible. Coach Saban will give the Alabama players some motivation.

Any chance South Carolina and Alabama could switch this weekend.

The unexptedly poor showings by FSU and Tennessee hurt Alabama’s strength of schedule.

This first ranking is meaningless. Win out and you are in. Lose and you have a problem.

I have enjoyed reading the reactions of Bama fans. The nerve of the CFB to not rank Bama #1. It's hilarious.
IMO, Bama should be #1. I think UGA's defense and special teams can hang with anyone. I'm not so sure about the offense.

Perhaps we shall have an opportunity to see?

We can only hope. How great will it be to have two 12-0 teams in the SECCG?

I hope this is exactly what the UGA team is thinking right at this moment.

Well FSU lost their stud QB in that game so...

I would hope this team is focused on SC.

The actual rankings themselves right at this moment are still pretty meaningless but I sure HOPE that the CFB committee doesn't go back on the precedents they set in the future with this one. They actually take in H2H, SOS, etc and not which teams have a legacy in this.

I woul vote UGA #1, they have best win at ND.

I can agree with the Top 4 teams. Alabama hasn't beaten any good teams yet. Georgia has beaten ND at ND and MSU at home. ND has wins over NCSU, USC, and Michigan State. Clemson has won at VT and beaten Auburn at home. Hard to argue with those teams cause they've decent wins.

But Clemson has arguably the worst loss of all the 1-loss teams in playoff contention at the moment. They're simply getting the benefit of the doubt because of what they did last year and that's bs.

I tend to agree with you.
