Interesting that they don't even pick to Kentucky to make a bowl game, even though other sites are being incredibly high on Kentucky so far.

Playing Texas in any bowl is good. And if we win that game, it would boost our recruiting in Texas.

But this game happening is highly unlikely.

I could see an 8-9 win LSU in this bowl... Depending on how ugly the losses are and when they fall out in the season.

Yes, it could happen. But what I am saying is is not likely. Texas has been unwilling to play us in football although we do have some games with them set up in the future. As you know, we recruit extremely well in Texas I think that is probably why they don't want to play us much.
