Before I rush to judgement, what's up with that? Don't know anything about LSU this season, but why did they turn down any and all post season invites? Seems like a good opportunity to get more practice time in, even if it's just the NIT.

Just wondering

Don't know if true, but I read that Simmons told the team he was going pro, and would not play in the NIT. The team then voted not to play.

There is NO way I'd draft Simmons #1, his attitude is a serious problem.

If you followed politics, you would know that the corn dogs cannot afford to go on any trips.

Simmons is a douche.

sounds like the team didn't want to do any more work either.

I'm not going to criticize Simmons because all that is speculation. The fact of the matter is the NIT has 17 at larges which is basically seeds 1 thru 4. LSU wasn't going to be an at large for that tourney. I think they were saving face.

Maybe it's not Les Miles fault for wasting all that talent every year. It's the culture of recruiting loser prima donnas that lay down when they get knocked down.

I'd really like to hear the true reason(s) behind LSU's decision. :office:
