I thought it was great playing it this past weekend as opposed to December. It was basically the focus of the basketball world on Saturday. And there was no football, college or pros, to compete with. Really adds some extra intensity to get some good resume wins playing it this late in the season.

I hope it continues like this next year. It would have been nice to get all 14 SEC teams playing, but nothing you can do about that right now.

Who won? I know the Hogs won.

Think TAMU, UF and Arkansas were the only wins. LSU, UK and UGA played well as underdogs but lost close games. LSU's was a heartbreaker.

So the SEC went 3-3? That is not bad.

The Big XII is the best conference in the nation by far, and it could have easily been 5-5 or 6-4 if LSU didn't get the Hield treatment, UT didn't choke and UK was able to close out their games.

I was happy UF got the statement win we badly needed. With SOS and RPI barring a collapse they should be playing for seeding now.

The Big XII beat our butts. The league is very strong this year. I could see them with at least 5-6 teams in March Madness. OU, Kansas, West Virginia, Iowa State look solid right now. Baylor looking good, too. Kansas State, Texas could also get in.
