Auburn playing in a tourney in Hawaii today and Christmas Day. We beat New New Mexico. I was hoping to get BYU, but they got upset by Harvard. Win that and we probably play OU who is number 3 in the country.

UNM is a good win for AU and Harvard will not be a slouch

Glad the game went OT. Only saw that one game yesterday for Harvard. Their big man was a beast. 23 and 19 or something crazy like that. It will be a test, but it is winnable.

Edit: UGA just moved up to #30 after that beat down of the Taters.

Great to see 10 of the 14 SEC schools ranked in the Top 100 SOS right now. Shows they are not scheduling weak team after weak team.

Some of that is overrated. You don't know how each team is going to be from year to year.

Yea tough loss. When your star player goes 1-15 and your second best player is injured at the end of the half it is hard to win. They were very good defensively. Looks like Dunans could be done for the season. Hopefully we can bounce back in the 3rd place game.

Yeah. Sometimes it can turn out better than one thinks.

Not really worried about strength of schedule. We played in a couple of tournaments.

Our RPI will take care of itself if we keep winning.

SOS is just as skewed as any other meausure. Notice the Michigan States of the world can't play themselves so they are at a disadvantage. Kentucky played the schedule we needed to play. I don't know anybody in this league that scheduled road games against UCLA and Kansas this year, two teams we beat by ar least 32 last year. I don't know any team that's dealt with the injury bug like us or lost so many players. I don't see the use in highlighting this on Dec. 27 other than to brag that your own team us no. 1.

Agree that KT is exactly right with his post.
