saw that. This could hurt Michigan in the long run. Nauta looking hard at UGA will cause FSU to make a hard run at Naseir Upshur

A couple of days after he visited the Unversity of Texas, by the way.

Coincidence? Maybe.

I think the most important factor was Jacob Eason.

He will be on his official visit for the Bama game

Official to Michigan for the Michigan State game. He's going to the big ones, that's for sure.

I will be very surprised if he doesn't sign with UGA. If he does sign elsewhere, I hope it is with Michigan.

Haven't you been very surprised in the past - ie Tunsil?

These guys are still kids.

Unlike Tunsil, Nauta's mom isn't looking for employment, and his girlfriend isn't looking for a condo.

I think TCU will be in it until the very end even thought they really don't utilize a TE in the true definition of the position.

We need to target the TEs 10 times against Bama.

Tunsil's mom is a nurse. Pretty sure they can find employment a lot of places.

Upshur has pushed his announcement up.

here was a time Naseir Upshur, the top tight end in Pennsylvania, was going to make his college decision after the season, but that is no longer the case.

Furthermore, the Philadelphia Imhotep star said he is focused on five schools. He named Florida State, South Carolina, Arizona State, Michigan and Temple as the schools still under consideration.

“I’m thinking about committing in the next month,” Upshur said. “I just want to get it out of the way.”

Upshur already has an official visit set to Arizona State for Sept. 18, and he added he would like to make official visits to Michigan and Florida State.

He recently visited Florida State and South Carolina, and both moved up his list. He is trying to set up an official visit to Florida State for the Oct. 10 Miami game, but he said it is not yet set. Imhotep plays the night before the game, so a trip is possible.

“I’m going to try and take official visits to (Michigan and Florida State),” Upshur said. “I want to go back to (Michigan) with my mom. I want her to see them.”

Upshur’s recent visit to Florida State left him impressed with the program, and it furthered his relationship with Florida State assistant coach Tim Brewster.

“He was a great guy,” Upshur said. “I spent a day there and got the opportunity to spend time with him. It was great.”

Upshur said he is making a return visit to Arizona State because “I want to see how everything changed” since he last visited.

Will have ramifications on Nauta, I'm sure.

Upshur committed to FSU.
BTW, why is a HS named after an Egyptian architect?

We'll probably miss out on both these kids, but what Harbaugh and Michigan need is simply a solid season where recruits can see some results.

Garrett Walston just de-committed from UGA and committed to UNC. That points to Nauta being a silent.

I'll be fine with that if we end up with Rashan Gary and flip Kareem Walker from osu......

Nauta is all UGA.

Big weekend for Nauta. Visiting Michigan for the sharty game. A big win could help. Few more UGA losses could help too. Who knows with recruiting, but JH is building an army in Ann Arbor.

Well if Richt's job falls into question it could change a lot. Seems Michigan and Florida are on the rise again.

Nauta is playing right now on ESPN2, along with #1 player Rashan Gary and Savion Smith.

If Kirby Smart is, well, smart, his first call will be to Nauta. Gonna be a tough sell though. I think Nauta really liked Richt

Pretty sure his first call will be Eason.

Eason's coach says he is a Dawg.

Yeah, sounds like it won't impact his decision.
