Considering the disaster of last year's season, Mason is having a very successful signing day.

Josh Smith stuck with Vandy. Top 100 recruit and #2 ILB. He becomes Vandy's highest rated recruit ever. That's the second year in a row Mason has signed Vandy's highest rated recruit.

We got a big flip from Jordan Griffin, another LB, who was committed to Wisconsin. He announced right next to Byron Cowart.

Kyle Shurmur becomes Vandy's highest rated QB ever signed, another 4* prospect.

No big surprise losses to day for Vandy. If everything holds as it should, this class will be right on average with Franklin's past classes.

Vandy is looking good so far.

It could have been better as we really swung and missed on some good RB prospects. There were also a couple battles for 4* DBs and DL that we just lost on, that at one time we were thought to be the leader. If we hit those we would have had a top 30, 35 class.

But given the 3 win season, I'll definitely take this class. We're sitting at 40 right now. I'd really like to see how recruiting goes if Mason gets the Ws on field next year.
