Auburn has flipped UGA commitment Darius Slayton.

Not looking good for Norton, Auburn offered G.G. Robinson.

Not looking good for Ivey was not expecting him to come.

We land Cowart and I could care less what else happens the rest of the day.

Auburn has landed 5 Star DE Cowart.

Auburn has flipped OL Mike Horton from Florida to Auburn meaning Ivey is headed to Florida. Congrats Gators.

Awesome day regardless of what else may or may not happen, WDE! One of the best defensive classes we've had in a longggg time.

Just please do not take Godwin.

Cowart's coach will not send his LOI in. Just let the kid go where he wants. Gives me terrible memories.

I know, I still think we're good but this is frustrating...and unbelievable.

I had read the kid was still torn on where he wanted to go.

Why not? I don't mind if the player has second thoughts - it is a huge decision, but I am not a fan when outsiders start getting involved.

He's been pushing him to go to Florida from the start. Relative of one of the Florida staff members, and Gus and Auburn pretty much cut him out of the recruiting loop for Cowart when it became clear he was trying to control things to make him go to UF. So, like any 12 year old masquerading as a high school football coach, he's throwing a fit and even made up the story about there being two LOI's. Muschamp was actually (may still be), on the phone with the Florida High School Athletic Association cussing them out over this guy.

The video of Muschamps reaction to the Cowart announcement was priceless.

Per Byron's mama:

We are about to fax & we are ALL AUBURN!

This is getting ridiculous. I have got literally nothing done at work today. Please just send it in so I can get some stuff done.

:rotf:.

LOI is in now! Now just waiting on Godwin's announcement. Great class, filled major defensive needs.

Finally in still waiting on two LOI's and possibly Godwin.

I think Callahan got thrown under the bus when he said the coach had it but of course he also later changed his story saying he was just waiting to be sure. I wish him well but he got his coach blasted because he got cold feet.

Congrats to AU on a great class.

I loved Muschamp's reaction. He means business.

Great class! I was starting to sweat Cowart when Florida starting moving up the board. Glad he finally found a fax machine.

Auburn is a beautiful place, but for the life of me, I find it amazing that schools like Auburn and Alabama are able to out-recruit schools like Florida or FSU. I know UA/AU def. have their fair share of hotties, but Tallahassee is full of amazing co-eds, and Gainesville is an awesome college town. I even understand Athens, GA because its such a nice campus and not far away from some big cities. But Tuscaloosa, Alabama? Auburn? Oxford, MS?

Just goes to show you how much winning and putting players in the NFL goes in these kids' eyes. If not, every kid on Earth would go to USC, Arizona State, or Miami.

Got to give Muschamp credit, still drawing a
a paycheck from UF and still driving the
program into ruin.

I wouldn't say that, regardless of who UF hired this year it was going to be a tough sell in recruiting right away, and UF actually came out of it alright going 50/50 H2H for Ivey, Cowart, Jefferson, and Holland with us.

Got to agree. Yes, most years Florida probably wins all four of those we might get Holland. CeCe was a huge get for the Gators assuming he signs his LOI which I fully expect he will. Ivey is a huge position of need for Florida and elite talent, but needs to gain weight.

Of course auburn people would view it
this way.

You don't get those guys without
Muschamp most likely.

But whatever, I knew Muschamp
was up to no good when he signed
with a SEC school.

Our AD messed up his buyout contract, no
way I'm paying a guy 6 million and allowing
him to fleece the state of Florida for top
recruits at the same time.

Ever heard of a "no compete" clause?
