I think Florida and Auburn are the only schools that have a good bit of room left especially Florida.

We got 8 spots left:

I think we finish with
5 ***** DE Bryon Cowart
4 **** DE Adren Key OR 4 ****DE Prince Tega Wanogho Jr ( I think Tega is more likely, but he is deciding after signing day if Key commits we will not have room)
3*** CB Jeremiah Dinson
4 ****CB Carlton Davis
Someone here who knows?] OR **** OL Chidi Valentine-Okeke ( Committed to LSU)
4 **** LB Jeffery Holland
4 **** WR Ryan Davis or 3 OR Juco WR*** Camion Patrick OR Juco ***WR Dominique Reed (19 TD's 1,000 + yards at juco last year)
5***** Terry Beckner or 3*** G.G. Robinson

That would put us at 1***** (Jovon got screwed) 19 **** (Projecting Camion and not Ryan) 8***

That would put us at 3 or 4 at the moment, but other teams will land guys also. We do have more on our board than almost anyone else.

1. Alabama
2. USCw
3. UGA
4. Auburn
5. UT

Guys we missed on
5****Martez Ivey (Florida)
5 ***** DE CeCe Jefferson (Ole Miss)
4**** QB/ATH Torrance Gibson ( Ohio State)
4 **** WR Ryan Davis (Florida)
4 **** DE Adren Key (South Carolina)

Back UP Plans: ( Guys I think would commit on the spot if they are offered last second)

3 *** CB Sheldrick Redwine ( Louisville)
3*** DT G.G. Robinson (Louisville)

I think Florida has a big day also.

I gave up predicting recruiting. Here is my hope list.
**** Roquan Smith, LB
**** Patrick Allen, OL
**** Rico McGraw, DB
*** Buchannon, OL
*** Williamson, DB

Keep everyone on board we have right this moment (Shaquery just decommitted).

Add:
***** Roquan Smith ILB
**** Patrick Allen OT
**** Rico McGraw DB (Bama commit)
**** Kirby Choates DB/S
*** Nick Buchanan OT (Cal commit)
*** Terrell Chatman WR (Miami commit)

This is subject to change.

I hope we keep Rico, I really do.

My predictions would be something like:

One HUGE sleeper that chooses Bama at the last minute (Maybe CeCe?)
4* Dayton Charlot
We are in on Chidi, we will make room for him since Prince is likely going to tOSU.
And possibly flipping Godwin, which I really, really doubt.

Our class, so far:
EE's
5* QB Blake Barnett
4* S Deionte Thompson
4* RB Dersherrius Flowers
4* S Ronnie Harrison
4* OG Dallas Warmack
4* OG Brandon Kennedy
3* DL Jonathan Taylor (who should count against the 2014 class)

Projected:
5* WR Calvin Ridley
5* CB Minkah Fitzpatrick
5* CB Kendell Scheffield
5* RB Damien Harris
4* OG Lester Cotton
4* OG Reggie Petitbon
4* OT Isiah Prince (could flip to tOSU) (If so, we get Chidi)
4* WDE Mekhi Brown
4* TE Hale Hentges
4* ATH Shawn Burgess-Becker
4* OLB Adonis Thomas
4* WDE Anfernee Jennings
4* OLB Joshua McMillion
3* WDE Christian Bell
3* OLB Keaton Anderson
3* OT Matt Womack
3* CB Montrell Curtis

(We would easily let Curtis and Anderson go to potentially land Jefferson or Chidi)

For the Bayou Bengals.....

Currently at 18 commits...the 7 I would like to see LSU land........

DB Holton Hill **** CB Lamar - Houston, TX
Prince Tega Wanogho, Jr. **** DE Elmore, AL - He will announce later than NSD. I think LSU only signs 24 to leave him a spot open if he wants it.
Chidi Valentine-Okeke **** OT Ludowici, GA - Like Wanogho above, he is of Nigerian descent. I think if we pick up Chidi, it greatly helps with Wanogho. As I was typing this, he has committed to LSU this morning. THIS IS A HUGE GET FOR THE TIGERS.
Cece Jefferson ***** DE Baker County High - Glen St Mary, FL - Come on Coach O, lay the charm on. He is likely going to Ole Miss, but you never can tell.
Arden Key **** DE Hapeville Charter - Lithonia, GA
Leo Lewis **** LB Brookhaven, MS
Torrance Gibson - ***** QB American Heritage - Plantation, FL - Currently an Ohio State commit, I think he flips. Biggest concern is that he flips for Auburn instead of LSU.

Odds are we don't get all 7. Most of them are a bit of long shots. A couple other back up prospects......

Mike Arnold *** OT, Winter Haven, FL
Daylon Mack **** DT Gladewater, TX

Based on what I've heard, very good that Rico flips and not likely that Godwin flips.

Personally I'm about 50/50 on Rico, but there is a lot of confidence on our side so I put him in there. I'm quite confident Godwin sticks with UGA.

Nevermind, I just got home and hadn't yet seen that Rico decommitted from Bama. He's going to UGA.

Now the question is, "can you get him qualified"?

It doesn't look good, and we probably did not have room to risk taking a guy that probably will not qualify. If we feel good about Ivey then I am okay with the pass. I keep changing my opinion on Ivey. Everyone else I feel pretty confident one way or the other. If we know we are not getting Ivey I think he has told both staffs where he is headed take the risk on him. He qualifies you get an elite talent. He doesn't well that opens a spot for 2016. I think he chose LSU over Auburn. I do not follow Alabama recruiting enough to have an opinion about them. I think he had an offer. I believe we would of taken both Ivey and Okeke.

Gus owns Arkansas whether you like that or not. The game means a lot to him since that is where he is from. He will never take them lightly. JJ passed for ~ 250 in the first half on 16 attempts. How many yards does he get in an entire game? It would probably be 500, but game will be in hand so probably will only get ~ 400 in 3 quarters.

In football, it was 2005 (Arky never).
In baseball it was 2008 (in 2004 Arky shared it with Georgia).
In basketball, Georgia has never won the regular season (Arky did once in 1994) but Georgia last won the tournament in 2008 (Arky in 2000).

Arkansas won the SEC in basketball its first year in the league, in 1992. UGA won it in 1990.

Update on LSU......LSU is hosting 6 recruits on this, the final weekend before NSD......

Cece Jefferson ***** DE Baker County High - Glen St Mary, FL - Yeah, last weekend before NSD and we get one of the top DEs in the country alone with Coach O for the weekend.

Jamal Peters **** S `Bassfield, MS - Good lord, how many DBs can you sign, LOL. This guy is a Miss State commit and I think he stays so.Not real sure why he is in BR this weekend, but hey, you never know what will happen.

Foster Moreau *** - TE Jesuit HS - New Orleans, LA - Probably the most under the radar guy that LSU is getting this year. 6'5" and 240. Could easily add 40 pounds to his frame. I expect him to redshirt and be a beast in a couple of years. Good blocker, weight room junkie. Committed to LSU on Christmas Eve. We met this kid at a camp last summer and he kind of took Worm under his (massive) wing. They seemed to gel and had a real big / little brother vibe going. Really nice kid, great family. Lived in BR until his 7th grade year.

Justin Reid - *** S - Dutchtown High, Geismar, LA - Eric Reid's little brother. You would think he would be an LSU lock, but that is not what I am hearing. He is pickin between the Tigers, Notre Dame (who are in desperate need of help at safety) and Stanford, which would put him down the road from his brother in SF. I think he ends up at Stanford, due to the crowded class in the secondary for LSU. But would love to have him in Death Valley.

And the surprise addition to the list of recruits visiting this weekend............much to the chagrin of Ole Miss fans.........

Leo Lewis **** LB Brookhaven, MS - Originally an Alabama recruit, he flipped to Ole Miss last fall. He was hosted by LSU for the Ole Miss / LSU game, but even though he was already an Ole Miss commit, was sighted pulling for LSU the whole game. Has developed a strong relationship with Recruiting Coordinator Frank Wilson. Now Coach Steele, who he already had a strong relationship with going back to his Alabama commitment phase, is also helping sell him. I think this could be one of those kids where we close strong and flip him.

Another late addition for the weekend............Brandon Martin ****WR Prime Prep Academy - Dallas, TX He is currently a Mizzou commit. I don't know much about him, or his recruitment. His family is originally from Monroe, LA so there is a connection. Had a great UA camp. I have no ides what is going on with him, but would be a good get.

I have no idea who Michigan will finish with. Harbaugh has flipped a couple commits. The biggest being Zach Gentry, the #8 pocket passer in the nation.

Still in on some big names.

Iman Marshall......number 1 cornerback
Chris Clark...........number 1 tight end
Roquan Smith.......number 1 LB
Tyree Kinnell........number 10 safety
Ty Wheatley jr......

Bunch of kids visiting this weekend, including Van Marshall (probably a pipe dream)

Harbaugh has only had 3 weeks of hard recruiting for this years class, and there were only like 7 spots available because it was always going to be a small class. So if he can add some quality, NEXT seasons class is going to be the one that's most important.

Hoke was notorious for getting kids to commit early so there were never any signing day commits. At this point we could have 5 or 6 signing day commits.

It could either go very well, or we could miss on several and be scrambling to just fill out the class. Exciting times.

It makes the move to try and guilt trip him no less slimy.

Replaced him with RB Tae Crowder out of Harris County. 6'3", 220, big body power back with speed. Also plays WR and is quite good as a reciever out of the backfield. Gets going north very quickly, not a lot of dancing around from him in the backfield.

I think you predicted Slayton would be decommitting. It isn't really that big a surprise is it? Is there something else?

Doubt he does, but Godwin could flip. Roquan sounding like he's gone, though I find it hard to believe. Expected Slayton to make the bad decision, but is still irritating, especially him doing it so late. Don't seem to be able to get any of our Plan B guys either, like Williamson (committed to UF).

I am most interested in Allen and Buchanan at this point.

Another signing day is here, and yet again our class starts to fall apart.

It's getting old. Slayton, while aggravating and I think it was a poor decision, I understand it. He grew up an AU fan. Hopefully the rest are just building drama/trolling or this close is going to really be deflating.
