Apparently we run too much to suit him.

I think Deandre Walker is committing today.

If UGA loses Jefferson, then I hope they take a look at Brad Stewart. I only got to see him in the state championship game, but he looked fast and athletic with strong hands.

Lots of rumors out there. Could it be that UT and UGA flip Van Jefferson and Preston Williams?

I'm ok with whomever comes to UGA and wants to be there and does everything to help win. I'd rather have a player that wants to be at UGA and is moderately talented, than someone who is just there and think they are owed something-Da'Rick Rogers and Michael Bennett comes to mind. I think either WR is very talented and would be glad to have them. I think Williams is the most talented WR in the country, but Jefferson will be contribute from day one with his route running skills that are as good as any college player.

If he decommits he's a Vol.

He visits UF last, could be interesting.

He just informed Georgia earlier that he is no longer committed. Wants to play in air raid offense apparently.

Looks like OU.

Seems like he is a good kid. I guess Georgia's offense just doesn't suit what he wants? It's too bad the UT coaches did not get along with his mom early in the process, or I would say he is definitely a Vol now. With the history that's been speculated on message boards though, I doubt his mom let's him go to UT. All signs are pointing OU.

Just saw a rumor on another board that Thigpen called Van's mom a bitch. Scratch UT. LOL

OU is apparently interviewing and possibly hiring his dad as WR coach. Very odd that he would take a step down to coached his over-hyped son in college, but maybe Van needs his hand held. I understand wanting to play in the pass happy offense, but he doesn't fit the air raid that well with his lack of speed. UGA would have been a better choice for him, but he's a dumb kid so this happens.

Van said he always wanted to go to Ole Miss but needed his Dad's blessing. lol

Wait, since when is Ole Miss and Air Raid, throw the ball 50 times a game offense?

He will be the 4th or 5th best WR on that team, I thought he aspired to come in and play right away?
He had a better shot of playing early at UGA, its not like they have an elite WR like Treadwell on their roster right now

He's become kind of a diva and I don't think he realizes what he is. Undersized, at least until he's been in some college S&C, and frankly a bit slow. It is his route running and advanced knowledge of the game that make him valuable and the value of those things is negligible in OM's spread. They need big, strong, fast guys...things Van isn't. He's an early impact, but medium ceiling kind of guy.

He would have played immediately here due to our lack of depth and his strengths matching up better with our O. Whatever, probably still a better decision than Oklahoma. Good luck to him.

This guy reminds me of Da'Rick Rodgers

Rogers was more talented overall IMO, but Van seems to have a good work ethic.

But he was MUCH more suited to going to UGA and playing right away. If UGA could have landed him and Godwin, they could have a legit WR unit to help their QB's develop.

Harbought?

Seriously I find it hilarious that they change their "crystal ball" predictions for so many guys every day or more than once a day. These guys are clueless in general and probably know little more than most average people following recruiting because so many kids play them LOL

True and only one CB would not be something to really say much about, but 14 in the last 3 days or so, all to Michigan, says something might just be afoot.

Drew Richmond decommitted from Ole Miss tonight apparently. He was a big reason Jefferson committed to Ole Miss. Looks good for Michigan, but wouldn't be surprised if UT now makes a surprise for Van on signing day. A couple of spots just opened in UTs class with Bussey changing his commit to A&M and some close to UT are hinting at at least 1 surprise

No kidding. This kids pushed his announcement back and twitter has had him committed to 3 different teams today.....

On the plus side, Michigan flipped Shelton Johnson from FSU. That's huge!

I think Chatman is waiting to see if Jefferson goes to UGA, or he has an offer from UGA if Jefferson goes elsewhere.

Some speculate that Jefferson was trying to find out what Godwin is going to do. I don't buy it. I don't think UGA gets Jefferson.

EDIT: He stuck with Ole Miss.

FWIW, he did not have an LOI from UGA.
