Meeting scheduled today between Hoke and interim AD Hackett. Meeting is scheduled for BEFORE the final team meeting. Writing could be on the wall.

If he's fired today, that would lead me to believe they may already have a replacement in the works. But who knows. The most important thing is the first domino needs to fall.

I think he's done today. That meeting is at 2 EST right? I'm really tired of poor head coaching hires.

I think so too. And I agree, the last two hires have been terrible for different reasons. This one has to be a home run.

Don't know. I certainly wouldn't turn down Les. Just have to wait and see at this point. Press conference supposedly scheduled for 4:30 est

yep, multiple reports confirm he's been fired. Really nice guy and I hate to see someone get fired from their "dream job," but the job was just to big for him.

The speculation about who will get this job is ridiculous sometimes. I've heard people even say Carr may come back as a short term fix.

Surprised they waited so long.

I'm not.

It's all part the plan. Showing Hoke respect on his way out the door. Letting him address the team before it went public. All this is a big show for Harbaugh to see.

don't post anything that has to do with footballscoop.com. All the reports and articles they have tried running today have been debunked, proven false, and ran through the wringer all day. None of it's true.
