The ref was stunned and was like, did that just really happen?

Some of you guys need to get over the obsession. Could have had handled it a little better? Absolutely. However, the official must not have though it was malicious.

Penn Wagers would have given UGA a 30 yard penalty, Kick Richt off the field, the parking lot, and into the next state if Richt puts the tip of his pinkie on him. If Richt actually pushed Wagers, Wagers would pull out a gun and shoot Richt dead. I'm afraid Winston will be the next Aron Hernandez. He keeps getting away with everything he does and so far he has no reason to not do the wrong things.

What exactly has he "gotten away" with?

malicious or not. the rule is; no touching an official no matter what.... no matter what..... no matter what....

there is no grey area. it is an absolute. no touching an official... no matter what.... no matter what...

The official didn't see it that way.

I'm surprised Georgia fans haven't found a way to blame the shooting on Florida State's campus on Jameis Winston.

I think he is pointing out the obsession that posters on this board have with Jameis.

It's not an obsession. Guy thinks he can do whatever he wants. Steal crab legs, act like a moron on campus, push refs, fix scores, rape girls.

Why would anyone defend him?

If he did something wrong in that game on Saturday, the ref would have flagged him. Nothing was malicious.

He was suspended for the crab legs, and had to do the required municipal punishment. He got suspended for the "moron on campus." No evidence that he raped a girl. Even less evidence that he fixed scores.

But you keep hating.

Ok sorry. He's a model citizen. We will see how NFL staffs evaluate his non-issues.

The ref was in that spot to make sure that the play could not be initiated before the chief referee signals. Winston shoving him out of the way most definitely should have been a penalty, possibly an ejection.

Yeah, there is no excuse for that to have not been flagged, though the calls for him to have been ejected might be a bit much.

From the footage, it looked to me like the official was in shock...

This Winston guy...... continues to partake in questionable acts. Seems to me he has not learned any lessons from his past behavior. Has yet to change his attitude either. What's got to happen for that to occur? :we:

He should have been ejected. Any other player would have been.
